I am currently a columnist at the InterTown Record of New London New Hampshire. You can find my writing in the New London Neighbors column. I didn’t begin with essays with essays. But with short lines and phrases, written messily in the confines of my floral journal. I had so many thoughts and no effort for sentences. I just wanted to let it out and let it go. Much of my writing reads like poetry. Poetry is where I began and it has shaped my voice. I hope my words make you feel. I write about things that hold value in my life. Practicing being in the moment and slowing down has enabled me to value the experiences, emotions, and people in my life.
